LXXVIII - The Temple of Chania

Flamerul 13, Year of No Age (1479 hp)

Shortly before dawn, members of the Heroes of Overlook and the Society of Ossandrya who had remained strong Tiradith to meet his companions went on ahead the night before, at the foot of the plateau on which is located the entrance to the ancient temple of Chania.

Gurdis Alavin and decide to separate the two groups: that of the nano will try to take the entrance on the south side while the captain of the human will turn around the plateau to enter the temple from the north entrance.

Heroes of Overlook and then begin to follow the path that leads to the entrance of the temple, where they find waiting for a dozen ghithianky guard posts. adventurers make their way into the temple and then, through a large and robust port placed on the rock wall. The interior is not illuminated, and the characters immediately smell a nauseating smell: the smell of rotting corpses!

Advancing with caution, the path illuminated by the dim light emanating from the stick of the magician, the characters discover some dead bodies of monks ghithianky, killed by a sword and left on the ground no doubt be some days before. Shortly after coming to a great room in the middle of a balcony which looks on a floor below from which come a few voices that speak in the language abysmal.

Heroes progressing quietly and come up to the balcony from which they see in the lower four ghithianky around a makeshift brazier. Soon after, three ghostly creatures, with features of ghithianky, rise from the floor around them and start attacking the group with powerful psychic attacks.

The noise of the battle immediately draws the four seen just before warriors who join the clash, making it challenging, but not enough for those adventurers who manage to escape once again free.
